You can use the eGIRO service in your FSM Global account for deductions related to Unit Trust and MAPS Regular Savings Plans (RSP), as well as for Cash Account and Auto-Sweep top-up plans and one-time top-ups.

You can apply eGIRO via FSM Global website or Mobile App.

Via FSM Global Website
Step 1: Go to Account Settings > New eGIRO Arrangement.
Step 2: Select the bank you wish to apply, and you will be redirected to the bank’s website to complete the application.

Via FSM Global Mobile App
Step 1: Go to Menu > Activated Products
Step 2: Select the Services tab > New eGIRO Arrangement
Step 3: Select the bank you wish to apply, and you will be redirected to the bank’s website to complete the application.

Once submitted, you will receive the eGIRO outcome within the same day.

No. Existing instructions or new set-ups via paper forms will not be converted to eGIRO.

The eGIRO is a new initiative, therefore certain account types are yet to be supported by the participating banks. Generally, Joint-All bank* account type are not available for eGIRO application on FSM Global portal until the banks support it.

*Joint-All bank account type requires all bank account holders' signature to authorize transaction.

There is no freezing period for applying for an eGIRO arrangement, and you may submit your application at any time.

However, any setup, termination, or amendment of Unit Trust and MAPS Regular Savings Plans (RSPs), Auto-Sweep Top-Up plans, as well as Cash Top-Up plans, remains subject to the RSP freezing period, which runs from the 27th of the month to the 12th of the following month.

Please note that termination of an eGIRO arrangement via FSM Global is only available from the 13th to the 26th of each month. For more information, please refer to “Can I terminate the eGIRO arrangement?”

You can terminate your eGIRO arrangement via FSM Global (web or app) > Cash Solutions > eGIRO Arrangement > Linked GIRO Arrangements from the 13th to the 26th of each month.

If you terminate your eGIRO arrangement directly via your bank, the status will not be updated automatically on FSM Global. Please email clienthelp@fsmglobal.sg with proof of termination showing your name, bank account number, and “Terminated” status.
