About the Fund Managers
The lead fund manager is Stephen G. Slaughter, supported by co-fund manager C.J. Sylvester. Steve has been managing the fund for 7 years. Also, they are supported by three additional members of the team to perform research, generate ideas, and uncover opportunities.
Investment ideas are generated through proprietary research, internal/external sources, company management meetings, investor conferences, medical journal reviews, medical conferences, as well as third-party research. In addition to utilising the portfolio managers’ experience and proprietary research, the team may use various valuation and profitability screens to identify attractive companies, including EV/EBITDA, Price-to-Book, Price-to-Sales, and growth in earnings and cash flow.
