What Is Two Factor Authentication (2FA)? Why Implement Two Factor Authentication (2FA) To FSM Global?
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is a process involving two layers of identity verification. 2FA is an efficient means to drastically reduce occurrences of unauthorised access to your FSM Global account. Besides knowledge of your login ID, and your pre-determined password, the second layer of verification involves a possession factor – a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number, registered email or retrieved from a 2FA authentication device, which is in your possession.
Placing the 2FA at login ensures that all your personal and financial information held with FSM Global is only available after you have sufficiently verified your identity.
